It's No Shave November

It's No Shave November in the Norris High School library. We take the fun cancer awareness campaign to the books this month by adorning the many faces on our book covers with mustaches. I mustache you to come in and see what we have to offer. You can even get your own mustache picture, we have many 'staches ready to go on popsicle sticks, so you don't need to worry if you can't grow your own.

Book page crafters, get ready. It has been awhile since we last did a book page craft night at the library, but we are going to do it again. Mark you calendars for the  date of Dec 8, 4-6PM. We can make ornaments, picture frames, and other flair all made with book paper. These can make great gifts for the holidays.

We also have an abundance of new books for you to explore, many genres including fantasy/sci-fi, thrillers, mysteries, horror, realistic fiction and a few nonfiction titles as well. Come in to see what we have to offer, don't shave it for later!

One Book One Norris- lot's of copies to checkout!

There are still many copies of the One Book One Norris selection "We Were Liars." This mystery will keep you guessing, and will leave much for you to discuss with your friends, classmates or teachers.

Be sure to stop by the high school library to see the last week of our October book display, Books that will Scare. There are many horror stories, ghost story collections, as well as nonfiction books for you to browse. Read them just in time for Halloween.

I just finished the book Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, and it was fantastic. If you like dystopic fantasy books, you will love this one. Fans of The Hunger Games and Divergent will enjoy this book. Sequel comes out in February, and I can't wait!
